Important Notes

  1. Caution Money (Refundable): Caution money will be charged only once at the time of initial admission. Any dues by the student to the University (e.g., lost library books/damage to property) will be deducted from this amount. The balance or full amount will be refunded upon course completion.
  2. Total Fee per Annum: There may be an increase of 5% to 10% annually in the total fee per annum for both fresh admissions and existing courses.
  3. Hostel Fee: Hostel fees are as per the guidelines laid down by the Govt. College of Education, Patiala.
  4. Messing Charges: Messing charges per month will be determined by the contract worked out by the Govt. College of Education, Patiala.
  5. Alumni Association Fund: Upon course completion, Rs. 500.00 per student will be transferred to the Alumni Association Fund from the caution money deposited at the time of admission.
  6. Concession for Outstanding Sportsmen:

    The following concessions in the total fee per annum will be provided to outstanding sportsmen:

    • International Level:
      • Gold Medal: 50%
      • Silver Medal: 45%
      • Bronze Medal: 40%
      • Participation: 35%
    • National Level:
      • Gold Medal: 30%
      • Silver Medal: 25%
      • Bronze Medal: 20%
  7. User and Maintenance Charges: This includes fees for:
    • I/Cards, Magazine, Electricity/Internet/Wi-Fi, and Water Charges
    • Sports Fund
    • Extra Curriculum Activities
    • Medical Care
